Hey There. I’m Dan.

I’ve always been drawn to storytelling - whether it was making movies in high school with my DV tape camcorder or obsessing over sports highlights and how they were edited. That passion led me to a career where I get to combine both. Over the past decade, I’ve built a career in the NFL, spending the last three years as Director of Digital Video for the Carolina Panthers, and before that, eight years with the Arizona Cardinals. Along the way, I’ve picked up 12 Emmy Awards for directing, producing, and editing content that connects fans to the teams they love.

My journey started in 2009 with a dream internship with the Arizona Cardinals, where I got to make videos for azcardinals.com.. This is before social media content was really a thing... After graduating from Arizona State with a degree in broadcast journalism, I honed my editing and producing skills at Right This Minute, a nationally syndicated show where we cranked out two 30-minute episodes a day - a crash course in quick decision-making and creative storytelling.

But the NFL was calling me back. I returned to the Cardinals full-time in 2014 and spent the next eight years climbing from coordinator to manager, producing everything from social media hype videos to full-length documentaries. I wore a lot of hats during that time - shooting, editing, ideating, and constantly pushing the creative boundaries of what NFL content could be.

In 2022, I took on a new challenge as the Head of Video Production for the Carolina Panthers. Since then, I’ve led the charge on projects like Camp Confidential and Blueprint, blending behind-the-scenes access with powerful storytelling to give fans a deeper connection to the team. I’ve also overseen countless game day cinematics, hype videos, and feature pieces that continue to push the limits of creativity in the digital sports world.

I’m not just a video guy. I’ve mixed in photography, motion graphic design, and social media strategy along the way, always looking for new ways to tell stories that resonate. And when I’m not creating, you’ll find me chasing adventure. Whether it’s mountain biking, backpacking, or snowboarding - if it’s got dirt, trees, and a bit of adrenaline, I’m in. I’ve also thrown myself into a few triathlons and mountain bike races, but these days, I mostly stick to the local pickleball leagues.

After more than 15 years in the NFL, I’m still fueled by the same passion I had when I picked up that first camcorder at 17 - only now, the stories (and the cameras) are a little bigger.
